I posted the message below at the League of Augsburg site, but I wanted to include TMPers as well.

I'm nearly done with the map for my Imagi-Nation campaign set in an alternative 1708 timeline.

While it is not true history, so to speak, I am still modeling the map after actual geography as best I can.

Given that, I am trying to pin down whether or not I have the significant terrain correctly identified, which of the towns/cities were fortified and to what degree, and the relative size of population for each of the identified population centers.

If you have a good knowledge of the geography of the Spanish Netherlands and United Provinces during this period, I am particularly interested in your feedback.

Here is the link: royalistroundhead.blogspot.com

While the map cannot be zoomed in too greatly from the website. If you are interested, I can email a zoomable map to you.

Again, this is for a campaign that I am about to have kick off. And once I am done with it, I will happily release it for use by anyone who wants it for a similar purpose…not that I am a great cartographer, mind you, but I am just making my intent known.

Thank you in advance!

Oh Justin, what a lovely collection of maps!!!

Wouldn't you mind to exchange links with my own Imagi-Nation, which is also set at this conflict? (some five years later though)

Sure! I think I already follow your blog, so I will add you to my list for visitors to see.

Very nice maps. Did you use CC as the software?

Justin Penwith20 Jun 2012 5:41 a.m. PST

Yes, CC3. I am still a novice with it, but it is a very powerful tool for mapmaking.

@Soldadets,

I have placed a blog roll on the left side of my blog, now, showing those blogs that I read and follow. I guess it is ordered by most recent posts, so you're showing up on it.

Since you also post on your blog frequently, I guess you will generally be visible all the time. :)

This is via my main blog at link

Once my imagi-nation campaign begins, I will link to yours from the central blog there at 1708imagi-nation.blogspot.com

It is from this latter link that my own imagi-nation blog is linked to…yeah, I know a little bit of a maze, but there's a reason for it. :)

Justin,

Just added your blog to my WSS Imagi-Nations list, too. Sorry for the delay, I've had a lot of work and worries lately ( minairons-news.blogspot.com ), that have prevented me from performing some due maintenances at my hobby blogs :S

I've momentarily added to such list your generic Royalist Roundheads blog, while awaiting your 1708 campaign start --I'm suspecting this is another bit of enthropy added to my lately chaotic enough hobby sites, but… well, no enthropy means no life :D

CC3 stands for what?
