Try not to play when CNN is in the chamber.

Not for twenty years, maybe longer (ever since Windows 3.11 died out anyway). I don't play any computer games at all these days, which is wierd considering what a computer game geek I used to be, binary editing data files and all that. |

I'd swear most of the computer solitaire games I've tried lately (free ones on the iPad) have horrible non-random draws. |

Haven't in a long time. Used to do Klondike and Golf (the solitaire card game). I'd also do Minesweeper or Tetris, to, uhm, improve my ability at "fuzzy logic" and "topological awareness" (you should see how well I can pack a car). These days I waste time on TMP. |

I used to play TriPeaks almost obsessively, but it's been quite a while since any computer game held my interest. Doug |

Play a game of FreeCell every morning somewhere between 5:00am and 6:00am. Attempt at arousing the brain cells for the day

No, Freecell when first logging on. |
Pictors Studio | 19 Jun 2012 1:25 p.m. PST |
No. I almost never play games on my computer. Angry birds on my phone sometimes. |

Guilty. Struggling hard to score 11,000+. Done 10,747 in 70 seconds and score 10,000+ on a regular basis, but I just can't break into the 60 – 69 second bracket. One day the cards will fall. It's the points that make it so much better than freecell. |

I forget what my strat is. I think its to favor getting the stacks uncovered before starting the A-K runs. (In Klondike/Canasta) |

My strategy is to leave one card in the first three pick so that I will see a different deal on Rounds 2 and 3. |

Never use up all the cards in a 3 pick so you get to see the others. Always play from the deal rather than the hand. Always clear the kings to an empty space. Don't be tempted to clear a suit because you can. Try and even out the numbers (ie: try and clear all the 2s before you do the 3s, etc). So, yes. I play solitaire

Eastfront demo version for me (solitaire play only). The 1944 or 1945 scenarios. I managed to get a draw for the Germans in the summer '44 scenario, but I was rooting for them and the Russians weren't trying too hard. :-) |
