When I saw it wasn't rated I should have known, but I spent my $1.50 USD to rent "Normandy" otherwise known as "Red Rose of Normandy". I think the studio changed the name to keep people from realizing what they were about to subject themselves to.

The film clearly heavily utilizes re-enactors, with which I have no problem, but they forgot to write a script or hire a cinematographer or from what I can tell, any movie production professionals.

I will admit it was cool to see some of the armor and weapons in action, but the dialogue was so bad I really had to watch it on fast forward to keep my dinner down. I'm sure the folks making it had a blast, but why oh why would they market it as if it were anything other than a hobby piece meant for friends and family.

Whew! Glad to get that off my chest.

I just rented Nazis at the Center of the Earth. I went into that one knowing it was going to be bad. I wasn't mistaken. It was so bad I liked it!

If you have instant play on Netflix you should give "The Red Baron"

it was made in germany. not sure how accurate it is but i really enjoyed it. get to see a lot of the planes and such in action.

You're complaining about losing a buck fifty and a bit of time over what you had to know was going to be a lousy film? Come on. What were you expecting? Band of Brothers? ;-)

Sounds like my experience. I saw it in their line up and thought "Cool, how did I miss seeing this one come out?

Now I know how :) , I too fast forward through MOST of it!
