I have come across a few threads where people are saying they did not have a dragoon regiment as well as some online sources but then you have these
So was there a regiment of Dragoons or not? |

I think the dragoons were planned, and therefore had a uniform but Murat was done before they existed. |

The Italian version of Wikipedia has what appears to be a comprehensive list of all Italian (Kingdom of, Neapolitan, Sardinian, Sicilian, etc.) units. It does NOT list a Neapolitan dragoon: link |

People deploy proposed German tank designs for 1946, so it isn't such a stretch to paint up this unit for a "what if" campaign, or just painting it up for the hell of it. Plenty of people paint the Lancers de Berg in their white/pink uniform armed with lances, when they were in fact armed with sabres when they wore that uniform. |

The definitive answer to this is "no"; the unit was planned by Murat, but never existed. Despite the comment on the plate, it does not show up in any French orders of battle for 1813. |
