If you haven't seen it yet, 4 guys with a bazooka, some knives and hatchets chasing around cave men for/with some alien types fighting to save the human race! 1956, full color. Valley of gwangi-TCM describes it as cowboys versus dinosaurs! |

Considering that the Rocket crew were just to recon Mars and not set down, why do they have all that camping and fighting equipment. Is is standard for Astronauts to carry heavy coats, packs, hatchets, knives and pistols? It was almost like they were planning to set down in some wilderness area. |

>>Considering that the Rocket crew were just to recon Mars and not set down, why do they have all that camping and fighting equipment. I actually saw this one at a theater on it's first run. Even as a kid I thought that the giant spider was laughable. I liked the look of the uniforms though, and I already had a jacket like they wore, so I went to an army & navy store and bouth a "Ridgeway" cap so i could complete the style. |
