How did the color of WWI British uniforms (especially early war) compare to the WWII uniform? It seems to me it's a bit lighter brown, but that could just be the pics I've seen. Any comment?

They are pretty much identical, certainly from a minis painting pov, although you will get the usual batch/manufacturer colour variations.

The eary WW1 uniforms were a green/brown where as the WW2 were a brown colour
