To me it means hours of wargaming fun for people who like small unit land actions, amphibious warfare, small naval engagements, storming forts, native Americans, militia, regulars in fancy uniforms, gunboat flotilla's privateers, pirates, and Congreve Rockets. |

Canada/Britain won hands down! No Canadian territory held by yankees at the end of the war. Lot's of U.S. territory held by British/Canadians! |

Yep, that's exactly why Canada holds so much US territory to this day and why we are so hostile towards each other! Or not. Thanks, John |

American war aim – conquer Canada and expel the British "oppressor". British war aim – Return to the status quo as we have more important things to do(such as fighting Napoleon). What happened? Return to status quo. Who won? Who lost? The Indians. |

Both sides won. Canada kept itself part of the Empire, and started to establish a national identity. Great Britain kept Canada as a colony. The US established a national identity, and destroyed the barriers to westward expansion. And well, the Indians lost. |
