This is for my Ia Drang project. I have all the NVA/VC painted and am chewing my way through the US forces. Now it's time to start thinking about terrain. I was thinking about a brown/green mat from the Terrain Guy link . I also need some advice on trees and foliage, as I'm not having much luck documenting those from the internet and my only other "reference" on that subject is We Were Soldiers. Any advice would be appreciated.

Believe it or not the Battlefront site has a lot of good tips in their Tropic Thunder sub site. You do have to join to view it.

For Nov '67, the 1st and 3rd pictures of lzxray.com/xray-terrain.htm seem the most familiar, with the others being spotted around. The pictures in the PDF link are very good for totality.

Thanks all. Those pictures are priceless and thanks MFW for commentary.
