Man, it's a shame how many Confederate ships were lost to the Hessian tactic of throwing themselves off mountains. It really deserves more attention.

Howard Pyle's "The Battle of Nashville"

It depicts the attack on the afternoon of December 16, 1864 by the 5th and 9th Minnesota Infantry Regiments on the Confederate line just to the east of Shy's Hill.
