The idea of cheap plastics has spurred many to purchase said armies. Does/ Has, the idea of assembling all those small parts leave you with a good or bad feeling towards this form of flat-pack wargaming? (Apologies to IKEA) |

I like plastic multi part figures. The variation you get in a line, horde, or formation is well worth the effort of gluing them together. |

I liked the Celts I was given. |

Does the question mean: do you like boxed 28mm hard plastic figures? If so, I don't think it is a 'form of wargaming'. And kits (and hard plastic) are not new. Me? I'm happy to convert/adapt figures in any material so I see nothing of special advantage (other than, for some, price .. though compared to the equally good soft plastic, they are not cheap)

I enjoy assembling the figures for a particular unit or function and customising/converting some with bits from other kits. I have done a large number of the old warzone plastics, some EM4 plastics troops and a good number of mantic sci-fi plastics. Good fun, and nice as it allows variation and a degree of uniqueness with easy customisation. Phil |

I started out as a model builder. Loved Airfix, Hasegawa, etc
So why not? |

I have no issues with the flat pack minis. Or furniture either.
