Nicely done – have been trying out the oil wipe on some horses. Using the newer oils that can be cleaned up with water. Taking at least 2 days to dry as it is cold and overcast here. |

Based on 'Crusader' miniatures rules – though on 40mm x 40mm they should be suitable for most! I put 3 archers per base to give the idea that they needed a little more room to manoeuvre. Thanks again. |

For the Huscarls amongst you see my blog for some painted Saxon units (in the Archives)! It's not all Normans they are just the current project. Re: the number of armoured figs – I'm simply painting all the figs I have to reduce the metal mountain hence the large unit. As I sell them the buyer can buy as many or few as he/she wants to suit their needs!! |
