Perhaps this has been posted before, but according to Belgian newspapers, a corpse has been found on the Waterloo battlefield during preparations for the 2015 bicentennial. I'm very sure that the remains will receive a military burial. What a find after almost 200 years. Rest in Peace soldier. |

Very moving to read this, it looks like he may be British? or at least on the British side from what I read there? Thanks for posting, first I had heard of it. I'm sure his remains will be treated with appropriate respect and laid to rest in peace. Lee. |
