I've now finished my project to compile an index for the issues of Wargamer's Newsletter I have. I've posted a summary on Vintage Wargaming here: link The Index covers articles (currently 865), feature articles (337) and books reviewed (770) There are some big gaps – particularly among issues 1-60. The post on Vintage Wargaming lists those I am missing. If anyone can and wants to help fill in some of these gaps, again please refer to the post on VW. I'll wait a bit to see if there is any response to this, then I'll think about how to make the index more widely available. |

Maybe the good folks at Caliver would be willing to do the indexing for you in the format you have. If their issues were indexed, they might sell. People would buy issues if they knew the contents. I could not open up the index, where is the link? If you posted the format, people who have the missing issues could send you the data. |

Hi Bob The link is to the blog post which identifies the "missing" issues and says what information is included. I have done the index in Excel as this gives enough ways to search to meet my purposes. I don't particularly want a Wikipedia like free for all so I would rather hold the master list myself and add any information submitted to it. When I'm reasonablly sure I've got any replies I'm going to I'll look at how to make it more widely available |

I went to the blog but found no link to the index. I meant for you to post the format and people can send you the data, maybe in a comma or tab delimited list, you require, not actually enter data into the data base. |
