I've been looking on Google images for some time, and can't seem to find a decent plan view image of the Hound Dog missile.

Anyone else got a decent source?

Looking preferably for a line drawing from above, but a photo, or other images would work as well.

Nearest I've been able to get to is a paper model of it, that sells for a couple of bucks, and is shown from an angle of about 30 degrees to the rear of directly above.

Thanks for the try, Terrement, but apparently that isn't it, based upon photos of the 'Dogs on the bombers.

I guess the one you've shown could be a prototype, or later project, but not the one I'm looking for, which looks more like this:

I'm not sure the above is right though either, since this one pic of two of them, underneath the belly of a bomber, appear to have the main wings further back on the fuselage, and of a slightly different shape:

There were two production variants though, so perhaps that explains things a bit too, since another pic seems to show the wings further forward, and with wingtips a bit more like these:

The wing tips on the all-white one above seem to be match the production variants shown mounted on the actual B-52 bombers.

Note – there is another missile 3-view drawing that crops up in the searches, (at least mine) but it is of a Bomarc surface to air missile, which has its main wings much further forward than the Hound Dog air-to-ground cruise missile.

Here's the best, closeup, belly shot I've been able to find:

A bit late in getting back to this, coincidentally, exactly one year later (what are the odds of that?), but yes, thank you for the links.

They are very helpful.
