Why do all these people (I almost wrote something insulting and DH worthy) think that they can tell Dear Editor OHBP how to run TMP?
They keep insisting, nay DEMANDING! that DE drop stifles.
As soon as DE runs a Poll, which fails by a super majority I might add, about Stifling, they demand another one.
Bitch, whine, moan, complain…

Most arrogantly of all, they are DEMANDING that Dear Editor OHBP nake changes to what is his source of income.

So, SHOULD TMPers be barred from tellin Dear Editor how to run things?
1) Yes, of course. It only makes sense.
B) No, I am an arrogant jerk and DEMAND the right to tell everybody else how to run their business, and I am not even a Supporting Member!
iii) Obligatory picture of a blue footed boobie

Let Bill run his house any way he wants to.
If that means he makes his own decisions, or takes opinion from the 'peanut gallery'.

I thought it was a matter of restraint. A modicum of it and the maddening mob is suddenly quiet.

Your on the money – OFM

I really see nothing to complain about _ i come here for free and nobody makes me buy or look at anything I don't want to. I think some folk are too keen on moaning. Monkeys are always moaning about nothing.

I could do a massive- but I rather listen some nice music now.

D- of course!

One.
The initial proposal never bothers me, however the repeated attempts (when the answer isn't the one they want) are aggravating and remind me of local referendums.

Thomas Whitten30 May 2012 9:34 a.m. PST

Really, it is no more arrogant (and possibly less so), then being told (or in some cases strong implied) by other TMPers how to interact with this site.

I almost picked B.
But I am a supporting member so I had to pick 5 instead.

But there is no number 5.
So now I'm lost.

I personaly find the demands and such rather humorous myself. Most semi inteligent people would get the hint after once or twice of being ignored but you always have those that think they can change the world because they want it a certain way and their opinon matters more than anyone elses, I find those people funny.

Perhaps just a small few people, people such as yourself, should make all the decisions for the masses. Think of how much easier it would be for everyone.

e) it don't bother me none

f) anyway the wind blows doesn't seem to matter to me

g) you go your way and I'll go mine you take what you want and I'll take the sunshine

h) I'm going to let you pass and I'll go last and time will tell who has failed and who got left behind

i) you shouldn't do that, you shouldn't do that

j)Think for yourself 'cos I won't be there with you

k) Speak out ! You got to speak out against the madness !

l) The river flows it flows to the sea, wherever that river goes that's where I want to be

If you do not consult with the stakeholders, how will they know when they are being ignored?

WHAT!!!

vtsaogames30 May 2012 2:08 p.m. PST

I know how exactly how it should be run. My solution is in one short paragraph written on a small piece of paper. Now where is that damn thing? Here? No… There? Hmm…

Allen5730 May 2012 2:55 p.m. PST

Dear Editor,

Please doghouse us all and randomly post false stifle counts for all members.

Grand Duke Natokina30 May 2012 3:00 p.m. PST

I just keep voting against them.

badwargamer30 May 2012 3:06 p.m. PST

Let people complain. I just ignore it all and look at the bits about miniatures. So I had no idea there was an issue with stifles. Don't see why anyone would have a problem about being stifled anyway. You'd have to have a pretty inflated ego to think that everyone is interested in what you have to say. If you don't like what I say then feel free to stifle me. I won't even know as I wouldn't check.

This is a great board for getting information and asking questions. Has been a great help to me. There is a big dollop of humour running through it and a fair share of jumped up individuals…..but hey, we play with toy soldiers, we are freaks, nerds, weirdos so what do you expect!
Personally let the editor do what he wants. If you don't like it then complain, leavor or just grow up and get on with it!!

It makes sense to listen to the opinions of the users when running a site. Especially one that runs off advertising.

Militia Pete31 May 2012 5:04 a.m. PST

I somewhat am inclined to agree with the posting of the first gentleman.

I like my peanuts salted and roasted. Other than that, peanuts is peanuts.
