Platinum ?, Forge World are surely using this as their material of choice
..checked out their prices at Salute for the first time
..sheeesh!, and they had the largest crowd around their stand at the show? |

Interesting if it works. I cant see why it shouldnt, its simply a longer time in the oven/vulcaniser with less heat. I say its simple, however it may well not be, Ive only watched before. I was looking at making resin casts of some 3d prints in the low temp high quality material. Then to metal. I didnt as even the high quality materials on 3d printing needs quite a bit of work. Anyhow Im off topic and I hope it works out for you eventually. If the figures really are significantly more detailed, Id certainly think of doing it myself with my next line of figures :) AA |

How's the progress going with these? Hopefully no more catastrophes so we can buy them? |
| Pole Bitwy PL | 05 Jul 2012 9:34 a.m. PST |
Fro today telephone call I learned that the silicon moulds used for the resin production masters died on them after so many attempts and they had to remake them also from the greens. Current schedule for first metals is Early Friday but realistically I believe I will see them on this upcoming Monday. Fingers crossed

Piotr, Ugh, what a headache. I really hope they are compensating you somehow for the loss of time and such on this project. -Eli |

I really hope they are compensating you somehow for the loss of time and such on this project. I plan to have this issue solved once I see the final castings Eli. I would have ditched them earlier had I known what would have happened, but then they make moulds weekly for their 28mm ranges

| Eli Arndt | 05 Jul 2012 10:07 a.m. PST |
Could be they are good at 28mm but just aren't used to working with something as small as 15mm. -Eli |

Will definitely be getting a handful of your Tigr's on release. Need some for standard Russian Army & some additional vehicles for OMON. |

I take it there have been further delays
.. Any update on these? Would be a shame if they don't appear :( |

i've stopped asking him. I figure he's doing his best and will get back to us when he has something. It's in his best interests to do so. I only hope he's not letting his iron cool too much before striking. Of course I have some recent experience with the frustrations of trying to get a product out, so I can certainly sympathize. -Eli |

Guys, I picked up some sample metal castings last week, BUT
there are some issues with metal flow and the castings are not yet sale ready :/ I was told the caster is tuning their casting machine to increase its speed / rotations, to achieve a lager pressure in the mould. They say that they never had such issues with 28mm minis and its only happened when they started working with 15mm castings. Personally, I am speechless considering this is their fourth mould
I have the greens with another caster now and working with him to fit them into his queue. In the meantime I am watching what they achieve with their 'spin caster tuning' since they still have the old moulds
I will post some pictures of the first metals very soon. Thank you for your continued interest. |

Good luck! By the way I've sent a couple of E mails and no reply. What's the best way to contact you? |
| Johny Boy | 23 Jul 2012 2:01 a.m. PST |
These will be superb figures so well worth the wait, just means more time to save up the pennies for an even bigger force ;-), Also noticed somewhere you have done WW2 German heads in gas masks, any chance of doing something similar for WW2 Russians?. Would then work well as head swaps with these figs and for transforming other ranges into WWW2. Cheers and all the best with the venture. |

Any update on these guys? |
| RTJEBADIA | 22 Aug 2012 8:59 p.m. PST |
Hm
I'm worried these have gone the way of those fantastic 15mm SF human + alien civilians (designed by PF)

| republic of tolworth | 23 Aug 2012 3:17 a.m. PST |
Certainly not looking good is it?! |
| von pumpernickel | 26 Aug 2012 2:55 a.m. PST |
I still can't see how a mould maker can screw this up sooo much
15s tend to be so much easier to do than the larger stuff. Guess these will disappear into the ether

I blooming hope not!!! Ben |

Me too ! :) Seriously, I should see some new sale ready castings in a few days. The technical issues are supposed to have been fixed, so the casting should begin in a day or two. You will all certainly read about the results here. Thanks again for your support ! Piotr |

So, will these be ready for sale then as well, and how do I get some! |
| Pole Bitwy PL | 28 Aug 2012 1:47 a.m. PST |
I hope so, but there might be a slight delay between the sets. Anyway, I will post updates once I have some test metal castings. Thanks, Piotr |

The Eureka Chechens are marvellous. I saw them a few weeks ago. They should be on their way to 300 Club subscribers. Nic may have some left over from the first batch a;though they're not yet on general release. |

. Come on Piotr if you are out there and reading this, put us out of our misery ;-), are the Chechens going to happen and if so when?. To be honest, we don't mind if you pass on the resin mouldings and simply go for traditional metal, we just want to see the figs out there
