Here are some more pictures of a quickly painted 28mm Stryker that you can get from Acheson Creations. I think it's really cool that you can put minis into all 4 of the crew hatches (except for the driver's hatch), or you can glue them shut.

I fouled this thing up by not having a paint pot that came anywhere close to matching the base spray I used. Live and learn!

And no, the model is not off balance, I did he shots out in my yard and he grass didn't exactly offer a solid platform for the mat.

Wheels, hatches, remote mount, remote mast, guns, and wire cutters are all metal while the hull is a urethane plastic. It is very easy to work with, and though light it still has a bit of heft to it, which is nice. I went with the Mk19 GL because I like the menace of the stubby beast. The .50cal looks thin, but is to actual scale dimensions. some may find that it looks odd because most people are so used to the super-chunky oversized weapons we are normally presented with.

One of the coolest detail aspects, I think, is that Acheson was able to get the inverted L rails across the rear top to come out as part of the hull, as well as the headlights with turn signals. They are pretty good under-cuts, but came out perfect.

There are printing striations on the model, which are obvious when you're up real close, but at arms length they vanish. Oddly enough, they provide excellent texture/grip when it comes down to weathering. When I get some of the 15s I will post side by side pics.

looks good. Probably I will get one in 28 and a platoon in 15… I really really have to find a cheaper hobby… and those are not expensive…

additional question the stowage is included or added?

Included. However, the 20mm (1/72) version will have separate rack pieces so you can do your own. The 28mm model may be modified later to make them separate as well.

This thing looks great, now if he can make an LAV to go with it =)

"…and I made the gun barrels a bit to thin, so there's a delay there as well. (which I will shortly rectify!)"

Are you actually involved with Acheson??

Yessir, I did the stl model of this vehicle about a year ago, never imagining it would come out this well. Craig is a hell of a mold maker.

Oh. Geoff, while I. Have you, do you have 15mm helos for Rhodesia?

Doh, forgot where I was for a minute. I'll email you.
