I've been mustering troops to play the Spanish scenarios in the new Command & Colours: Napoleonics expansion. This has been somewhat complicated by the lack of options in plastic, but I've been muddling through very well. I also picked up some metals, including this Spanish mounted officer, which my chum Kristzian has painted up as General Romana. You can see some pics and learn a little about the good General here. link He served in the navy in the American war, later against France in the war of the First Coalition before being sent to Germany with Spanish troops in French service. He finished his career under Wellington before dying of a shortness of breath in 1811. |

And that is a stunning model of El General. I hope he does as well on the tabletop as he did in real life! |
