Pity there is only one standard bearer in each set but even with using just one of each pose from the set they make a decent sized warband.

Very cave-man. Not my style of orc, but nicely done.

Nicely done as usual! Have you looked at the Dark Alliance Orcs yet? I just picked up a box of "set 1". Very nice looking Orcs and they fit well with HaT figures among others.

Thanks :-D
@John…They do look good and Iīm going to get some. I heard that they are made of soft plastic, a bit softer than even the Type HaT uses..true?

My first glance, they did not seem bad at all. HaT is pretty rubbery. These seemed rigid. I'll look again tonight when I get home.

I have several sets (3 x Goblins, 2 x Elves, 1 x Adventurers), and they are soft, but not bad. I am at around 80% complete in painting the Goblins, primed with White Gesso. No issues yet. Will be applying either Magic Wash (Future), or The Dip, followed by matte clear coat, so the paint will be well sealed. I don't believe they will pose a problem -- haven't thus far.

They're inexpensive enough that I was willing to take a chance on them. I really like the sculpts, and the Goblins paint up very fast: mostly bare-skinned, simple garb, not too much detail. Elves seem similar in all aspects regarding painting. YMMV. Cheers!

Paul,

The DA Orcs are about the same consistency as Caesar figures. So perhaps a little harder than HaT but still flexible.

Thanks John. Youīve convinced me. Odd thereīs no new about them at PSR..theyīre not even in any of the listings? (or I havenīt found them)
@ Sgt The first time Iīve painted orcs and yep, they paint up fast. Iīd been putting it off painting them but it was fun, definately a new area of collecting for me and after a bit of experimenting today, Iīve found they are very easy to convert.

Thanks coeey..itīs FB messing about again trying to screw money so that I upgrade my account cos I went over the limit of the "unlimited free uploads".
What their definition of unlimited is I donīt know but it aint the same as mine.
Iīm now slowly replacing the all pics I have uploaded onto the blog using another picture host..a pain but I wonīt be conned into paying for further "unlimited uploads" only to find out thereīs a limit at some point.

Daft question, but what's wrong with just hosting the blog pictures on Picasa? So long as you keep them limited to a maximum of 2000 pixels on their largest dimension (suitable for most blogging needs I would have thought) you appear to have unlimited storage.

Thanks KK..Iīm also using Tinypic alongside picasa..as you say unlimited storage..
Why I went and used Photobucket again I donīt know but never again
