Ive never had much if any interest in the TYW period. With the recent release of P&S I started reading up on some of the larger campaigns & battles. Rocroi seems like one of the more classic ones from the war to game. Wondering if anyone had done it in 28mm yet and what minis you used? What was the outcome of the game? If I do delve into gaming the TYW it will now be a tough choice between collecting minis for Rocroi or Swedes! |

I'm doing French for the 1640's in 28mm. This TMP thread discusses sources for figures and uniform info. TMP link Redoubt are the main source for the French. Go for it – makes a nice change from the usual ECW and TYW Swedish and Imperialist armies. |

Cheers for the link Fred. I agree about the French. U.K. |
