Hi

I just noticed that the napoleonic austrians are gone from Perry miniatures plastic workbench.

Anyone knows if they are still planning to release austrians in the near future?

Cheers Mads

I talked to the Perrys at salute and was assured that they were imminent.

Helmeted Austrians from Perry..

My heart just dropped a beat reading that opening post, then just as quickly leaped with joy at the following one.

Is there something wrong with us that this sort of thing causes these sorts of reactions? I mean, most of you other hobbyists are pretty old..there could be some cause for concern.. ;-)

Cheers,
Bob

It is an innocent enthusaism that brings joy to hundreds and bewilderment to thousands. Better this than chasing inappropriate women or playing golf.

Agreed.
I do get some funny looks when I tell people I game with small soldiers.

Tell me about it…… Behind every (male) wargamer is a women rolling her eyes.

Only if the male gamer wasn't smart/lucky enough to find a lady gamer!

Though I was most amused at the antics of the last gamer I knew to marry a gamergirl. They processed down the aisle to the Imperial March. Yes, the one composed by John Williams.

Hope they get their arses into gear and finish the Brits soon.

Cavalry casualties, and a rocket troop would be nice. So would some Royal Marines, wishful thinking on the last one.

Then more ACW Confederates and AWI British, (all in plastic).
Good times, good times.

Ive been going to the Perry website for years. I had no idea they were doing plastic Austrians! Perfect timing for me. I just started on Raszyn this month with Victtix minis. Between Old Glory and Perrys Ill have a nice mix of minis to chose from.

Now, about the wife….

I was moaning earlier in the month about how long its taking to finish my 1815 Brit/Allie and French (brigade of each with support)
But whenever I look at the Perry Austrians I can't help but start planning a brigade of those as well! The metal grenadiers are superb and the plastics look great so far- could I find a way to get the Austrians at Waterloo?! Maybe they where the first country to build a teleporter- they have just been keeping it quiet all this time!
