Since Historicon is happening in Fredericksburg this year, and since this is the 150th anniversary of that particular battle, I put together a free PDF scenario for that battle. To download it, go to: commandcombat.com Go to the left of the screen and you'll see where to download it. Though Fredericksburg was historically a slaughter, it did not have to be. What if Burnside had not put all his resources into attacking the one stone wall? What if he had followed up the successes in the south? The scenario is broken into a northern map and southern map. You can play one, or you can put them both together for a grand battle. I hope it gets played at Historicon, as I think it would be really grand to present this in miniature format at the battlefield where it happened. If you can remember to take pictures, please send them to me via the website. |

This is great Jeff! The 1st paragraph talks about the battlepack being about Fort Henry, Shiloh and Fort Donelson though. Another very good looking scenario pack. Thanks, John |

OH my god, John, thank you so much for pointing that out! I need to fix that right away. (I of course used the other as a format, and apparently had not taken that out.) Thanks again! |

I fixed the Fredericksburg scenario so it doesn't have the confusing paragraph any more. My apologies to anyone who downloaded it and didn't understand the first page. It's now available on the front of the website at: commandcombat.com I'm still looking for someone to put on the game at Historicon. It's the perfect scenario since the convention is actually taking place at the town where the battle happened. You will, of course, get the scenario, and I'll also give you a free copy of the game, the expansion, and one of the battle packs. If you need any other accessories, let me know, and I'll send it your way. |
