1) What would they look like? EDIT Never mind that one. Seems like other people have thought about such a "borg":
Lots more pics out there, if you do a Google image search under "borg tribbles". 2) Would they automatically multiply like rabbits, once fed? 3) How dangerous could they be? Dan |

Make a helluva a Star Trek movie, once they stop taking themselves so seriously! |

Exactly! I think a Galaxy Quest-ish game would be the route to go though. :) TMP link Dan |

That would be bad. I'd like to think of it the other way round though, e.g. the tribbles taking over the borg, who have a soft spot for the small, furry creatures. They find their cooing sounds strangely soothing to their electronic, neural networks, and are mesmerized by them to the point of incapacitation. |

Since the Borg have raided/assimilated into Alpha Quadrant, there is a decent chance they already have assimilated a Tribble or three million. They may very well be an important part of the serenity that is the collective mind of the Borg. They may also have been encountered and brought into the Borg not as members, but as protein. |

I here I thought they were mostly fur . . .

Borged Tribbles have their hair replaced by fine wire. This makes them eminently functional as Brillo cleaning pads

I thought tribbles were those things that kids used to tie on their roller skates in the 80's. Pom Poms? And the crew of the Enterprise were obviously just crazy and confused due to a lack of R&R.

Star Trek Online has Assimilated Tribbles. Tribble breeding is one of the stranger parts of that game. Lots of weird food, feed the right weird food to the right tribble: get an even weirder tribble. |

So what we are saying is Tribbles are to Trek are what Squigs are to 40k Orks? |
Zephyr1 | 25 May 2012 1:43 p.m. PST |
At least with Tribbles you can use them as TP in a pinch, with squigs, you take your chances
