In researching expanding foam I discovered that there is a new product on the market, a water based foam that does not over expand like the polyurethane foam and cleans up with soap and water
DAPtex® Latex Multi-Purpose Insulating Foam Sealant Non-clogging applicator and easy soap and water clean-up. Toolable and moldable. Paintable with latex paints once cured. Interior/Exterior use. I think I will give it a test run
