Sometimes. Looking at the present contents of my tea chest, I note a nice China black with cherry and almonds, an amazing pouchong with jasmine and orange peel, and a rather ordinary but pleasant white tea with plum and forest berries. If we are to lump flowers in with fruits (why not?) I also have a newly acquired oolong with hibiscus and a jasmine pu-erh. Arrayed against those are two other types of pu-erh, three different types of lapsong souchong, a Sri Lankan FBOP, Golden Monkey (Fujian), winter picked Tung Ting, Qi Lan, Ti Kuan Yin, Golden Dragon oolong (Long-tou Mountains), and a very little bit of Shui Xian. In the cupboard over the stove is a pack of Yorkshire Gold, for emergencies. |

Depends what you mean by "fruit tea". If it means tea entirely made up of fruit, that is not tea! It is the vile concoction of Birkenstock wearing demons in pony tails intended to tempt the unwary. However, I do enjoy black or green teas with fruit mixed in, my favourites being blackberry, blackcurrent, lady Londonderry (strawberry and lemon) and I've recently discovered a tangy grapefruit (all black teas). |

It is so sad that for so many unfortunate Americans all they know of tea is Lipton's tea, an inferior blend. They just don't know any better, I suspect if they had access to better teas they might drink tea more often. In fact, I drew a mini-comic story about searching for a decent cup of tea in Columbus, Ohio. |
