American Yellowwood Cladrastis kentukea I just love this tree. Has interesting foliage, wisteria like blossoms that are very fragrant and a very pretty yellow fall color. link link

My favorite tree would have to be the one in a game of battletech where my primary weapon jammed, but because my mech had hands and was a 90 tonner I ripped a tree out of the ground and successfully beat a lighter mech to death with. I got a critical on the head and killed it. The umpire who allowed me to do this and the victims faces looks were priceless. |

My one big regret was not taking up the job with the Forestry Commission and ending up in computing. For me trees are some of the most wonderful and beautiful things in this world – give me a forest after rain and I could be in Heaven. |
