I recently received the two new Prince August horse grenadier molds S936 & S937 from Ireland. S937 isn't so good on account of the way horse's body turned out, but I like S936 quite a bit. The molds are well designed, giving a good casting success rate. Here I've painted the figure using the painting guide, as the Russian Kropotov cavalry unit. The only extra thing I did was bridge the gap in the reins between the mane and rider's hand with green stuff.
And here as I've modified him to a conventional cavalry figure. After all, how many horse grenadiers does your army really need ? ;-)
And a bit more about it on my blog. link Regards, Steve |
