We will also be offering two event games several times during the weekend. They are designed to appeal to both the new and experienced FOW player. One game will be a North African Tank Battle and the other will be a FOW Vietnam game. More information and signups for these games are also on the Gen Con Indy website.

The 2 event games this year should be fun.

The North Africa table is a 8x4 table with 4 players per side. All of the units will be armour or AT guns, and the absence of an assault phase will make it easier for a novice to pick up on.

The Vietnam table is a specially constructed 4x4 table with 2 players each side. We are fortunate to have a couple of guys who build scenery for the local rep theatre as members. The movie "We were soldiers" is our inspiration. Lots of NVA guerilla reserves as well as making full use of US airpower. This game should be good for anyone interested on the Tropic Lighning suppliment. Lots of infantry and assaults.

Nearly all of the event games are sold out, only 1 day after tickets went live. We have 2 Vietnam slots and 1 Africa slots left for Friday afternoon, and that's it.

Still got plenty of space in the tournaments.

Thanks for the updates. I'll try to make it this year!

Hope you can make it VonBurge.

We wanted a range of tournaments this year. Although we are one of the first qualifying tournaments of the new season, we kept MW at 1625 to match the recent nationals, and 1500 seems to be the standard EW point limit.

With LW we wanted something different. The table will be 4x4, and the 1050 limit will make force selection a bit trickier. It will also mean that if you only want to play in 1 tournament, a 1050 army should not take up too much space in your luggage.

All of our event games are now sold out. As usual, we will accept generic tickets in case of no shows. If you want to play, let the GM know, and 5 mins after the official start time we will take generics based on a first come first served basis.

There are still a fair number of slots available for all of the tournaments.

I am putting on a new game con in Grand Rapids, MI on Sept 29th. I am interested in having someone put on a FOW tournament, but am not sure who to talk to. Can you help me?
