Anyone play TooFatLardies' Bag the Hun solo? How do you go about it? Are there resources or files? Thanks. |

Sorry, should have said that I just have and am looking for as much info as I can find. TFL's group is great, but they focus on all the games and I find Yahoo's search function for posts to be very difficult to use anyhow. |

Other then mentions of the Platoon Forward type of rules being used with BTH2 as far as I have seen there really isn't any dedicated solo play rules out there using it. Robert My 3mm-1/600 Miniature Wargaming Yahoo Group link

From what I understand though the card activation and Blinds type of system Makes it easier to play solo then other systems Robert My 3mm-1/600 Miniature Wargaming Yahoo Group link |

Bag the Hun itself lends itself to solo play. All aircraft enter on "bogies". When I play solo, the opfor has several sets of bogies enter and only some of these are actual aircraft and the others are fakes. With the card activation, it really helps with keeping you from just dominating the opposing force. The Squadron Forward supplement that is talked about is more for creating your own campaigns. BTH works great for scenario driven games played solo. I play most of my BTH games solo as my groups prefer CY6. |

I think Princess Leia was into that, by playing hard to get. Haven't played Bag the Hun, but as mentioned above, it seems quite doable to me. You could play it straight up, as written, or, only restrict your opponents' firing on you, while you, the master ace of your current sector chew up the opposition, with your flambuoyant flying, and expert marksmanship. Of course, you'll need to watch out for the lucky sod who gets the drop on you, and/or Australians on the ground with firearms. |

I play BtH2 solo with no problem at all. Chris is hiding his light under a bushel as he's the author of two scenario packs for BtH2 dealing with the western desert air war. Available from:- link Great stuff. Phil |

The sequencial mechanics of the card system in BtH makes solo play quite straight forward (as long as you can keep both sides plans in mind). Does not require any modification, though if you want some surprise you might randomly assign sections of flights to groups of bogeys. Of course you can play Bag the Han (Solo) as well with the Bag the Jedi suppliment in one of the specials. Cheers David |
