Does anyone make metal dice that I can use with magnets? I what to put magnets on movement trays and use metal dice to display the units stamina status. |

You could use double sided sticky tape on the section of tray you want to affix the dice. Small dice are more likely to stay put. I have tiny dice for marking casualties. |

I was toying with the blue tack option until the idea of magnets popped into the grey matter. |

I have seen metal dice in both pewter and aluminum, but nothing magnetic. Since the dice would not need to be true, perhaps you could coat wooden cubes with several coats of ferrous paint and use a hobby drill to add pips. You could also experiment with resin cast dice impregnated with iron powder. |

Could even drill out some cheap dice, place a piece of steel inside then back fill with putty. Good idea! |

Crystal Caste makes steel dice, but they're $6 USD US EACH! They also look like they're stainless steel, which also means they won't work for your purposes. Others have offered better suggestions, but you could also use flexible steel sheeting and cut it to fit around a D6. You'd only need to do 4 sides at most to get it to stick, and with moly magnets you'd probably only need 2 sides. Having said that, blue tack or dice docks seem the best options. |

You can use square rare-earth magnets with the pips painted on: link 1/4" square magnets are $0.68 USD each. -Binhan |
