May I add that the correct name of the rules is Pz8 WW1 (Panzer 8 being another set of free WW2 rules, by another author…)

I would like to do something similar, but do you need some kind of framework for the squares? They do not slide while gaming?

You have to use a felt support on the table and on it you can put the squares. They won' t slide. grin
