Greetings,

The blue Juggernaut is moving forward with two more battalions of Line infantry on the work table. To make the eagle unit stand out more and show their higher motivation (In R2W we are going to label them as elite). I used heads from the french hussars to give my Voltigeurs and Grenadiers plumes and cords.

Anders the younger just finished an entire battalion of west Prussian grenadiers, keep an eye out for posts coming when their bases are done.

He have also started putting together more of his lovely converted Prussian hussars. The plan is to finish 12 to begin with and I think we all are looking forward to that.

As always flags are from GMB and flag finales/eagles are from Bicorne miniatures.

You might also consider using the 46th Line. Their grenadiers continued to wear the bearskin into the 1813 campaign at least. Rigo has an illustation of the eagle party, with the officer and one fusilier sergeant in shako, but the other eagle-guard with the bearskin.

These grenadiers of yours look great!

Hi,

Thank you for the interest shown!

I currently don't have any plans for a additional line regiment. When the two current line regiments are done I'm planning some light infantry battalions. But I'll keep the 46th in mind if when I'm adding another infantry brigade.

I'm really happy with how the grenadiers turned out and I'm really looking forward to do the voltiegurs in the same style.

The progress right now is that I only have skin and pants left on those 24 line infantry so I will be done with them tomorrow.

After I'm done with those two battalions I'm going to do some more generals of different sizes and shapes. Also we are starting to do terrain for our game table so keep and eye out.

Regards,

Anders the elder
