For the actual game Wargods of Aegyptus (by Crocodile Games) they would all be mounted on square bases and that's what the miniatures come with. Not sure why they are using the different bases in these photos though. They are in a display cabinet so I'm guessing they just wanted some different shaped bases for the display. |

Hi, just by chance I toppled over this thread. The bases are square for fighters, hexagons for magic users and round for non civilians. Actually for many years I based all my minis on GW bases as a matter of taste and usability for different games. Two years ago, however mainly due to price reasons, I switched to Vitrix bases as they are thinner and cheaper, especially the larger ones :-) Also I added some pics of Olympus Myceneans to the URL with more Wargods stuff to follow soon. After taking part in the Olympus Kickstarter my painting motivation is high and I am collecting and painting Aegyptus and Olympus armies right now ;-) cheers Thomas |
