A while ago there was a discussion on TMP about sources of full-sized military flags. One of the posters suggested a company in Germany called Universal Handel 24 that sold reproduction military flags.

I ordered a sample Napoleonic flag off them – the tricoleur of the 85ème Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne. The flag arrived yesterday, and I'm pleased to say it suits my purposes nicely:

For a full review (and Universal Handel 24's contact details), check out my 'Dressing the Lines' blog.

Also, the original discussion on the TMP Napoleonic board includes a link to pictures of flags ordered by another poster, including some superb full-sized British standards:

Quite a few years ago (20 maybe?)I took a picture out of Osprey of Prussian Garde du Corp flag and had it blown up to poster size. It is hanging in my wood shop. Never knew it could be made in replica, or why anyone one would thinking I had to be the only nutt who would do something like that.

I just noticed – for the fantasy players out there – they do Lord of the Rings flags too!

I've been thinking of making some of my fantasy flags up. My wife sews, and the designs are relatively simple. I'd forgotten about it until this thread. ;-). Cheers!

Awesome site! I wanted an Austrian regimental. No such luck. HUGE selection of Prussian 7YW though!

With direct computer graphics able to print on most substrates
it shouldn't be too much of a stretch.
