Can anyone comment on how these two lines differ? I recently pikcked up a few Navwar galleys and found the only assembly was to glue in the mast and sail. I found that they paint up nicely. While I await a larger order I am also looking at Langtons. How do the two compare in size and are the Langton's fiddley to put together?

Sorry I can't comment on Navwar as I don't have any, but I do have some Langton and Valiant (1/900th) – the Langton are very nicely detailed and come with separate mast/sail, aplustre and base. Not really that fiddly as Super Glue will attach the separate parts pretty easily. Here's what the two types look like:

The Navwar kit is east to put together and looks OK for gaming.

The Langton kit is scale modelling, looks fantastic but requires serious modelling skills to assemble.

You pays you money you takes your choice.
