These are the fellas I'm talking about:
link Just wearing a tunic and some jewelry, aside from their weaponry. Is anyone working on such a thing at the moment? Dan |

The Baueda Trogs are 28mm
but are darned close: link Maybe they can be convincedto do them in 15? Most of their other stuff is. |

WOW!!! Eli, those Copplestone "Picts" are absolutely perfect. Incredible.
Adding a little more hair on the shoulders and arms shouldn't be too difficult. I think you may have found my 15mm Morlocks and Oparians too!!!
booksmonthly.co.uk/erbe.html TMP link TMP link Eli, you have just made my day. My wife will hate you, but you have by eternal appreciation. Dan |

Another interesting idea Dan ! You want Simians without armour and advanced weapons. Any specific weapons or just stock bows with arrows or spears and shields ? Thanks, Piotr |
Eli Arndt | 09 Apr 2012 4:54 p.m. PST |
Glad I could help Dan. They are perfect for my Hollow Earth and Age of Stone and Bone fantasy setting. -Eli |

And, if I paint them just right, they could work as Morlocks or as alien primates on some far off world. Thanks again! Dan PS. Piotr! What are you up to these days? Glad to see you here. |

This is another way Frazetta visualized the Sagoths of Pellucidar:
I say that's pretty close in my book. Dan |

I know. I'm afraid to blink! Dan |

Man, those Picts are nice! I'm with CommanderCarnage, if they were in 28mm, I'd have already sent off an order. |

Wow! Those Copplestone 'Picts' are nice! Thanks for posting. We truly do live in a Golden Age. As someone who grew up with Caspak, Pellucidar, and the Hyborian Age, I'm impressed. |

I'm with CommanderCarnage, if they were in 28mm, I'd have already sent off an order. Now is the *perfect* time to get into 15mm
|
jpattern2 | 10 Apr 2012 11:17 a.m. PST |
Too much invested in 28mm to switch now. Plus, I prefer the look of 28mms on the tabletop. |

Now for Something (NOT) Completely Different: what about Shagots? |

I have a feeling that those Copplestone "Picts" are going to feel right at home in the middle of Africa:

Intrigued to have just come across this thread, as I've been thinking I'd like to do some sculpting based on Burroughs' novels
Is anyone aware of specifically Burroughsian characters or creatures available anywhere as minis? |
Cacique Caribe | 09 Mar 2013 10:31 a.m. PST |
I found a re-purposing option for Opar: TMP link Dan |

Cool. It actually looks like there's a lot of stuff suitable for games set in Tarzan's Africa. (Though maybe not enough of the more far out critters that occasionally appear
dinosaurs and such, or the mahars as depicted above.) How about Barsoom? I'd love to work on some Barsoomian denizens
