Last weekend a few of the folks came round to the shed for a WW2 gamer – a ficticious scenario in OPeration Marklet Garden.

Write up of battle on my blog….

That table is just gorgeous to behold. As were the shots of the action. Figure and model painting is great.

Do you have "EricFire" up anywhere?

Your name is Eric and you have a variant of Crossfire, ergo Ericfire.

Thanks,

John

Ha ha ha, Sorry Eric.

I'm a long time CF player and a number of us who play the rules but also include our own house rules (say for anything from different AFV fire resolution, artillery, cover and terrain types, effects of pins and so on) call them things like LloydFire, BalaganFire, TimFire, etc. Just means (for me) I play Crossfire with Tim's house rules; ergo, as John Leahy mentions, "TimFire". laugh

I was just wondering if you had your home brew rules based on Crossfire on line anywhere – no big deal if you don't, I just wanted to have a look and pilfer any cool ideas! laugh

Hi Tim

Our home brew rules are not online but I will have a chat with author to see if happy to post on blog…..

Many changes including:

1. We ditched unlimited movement
2. Initiative cards determine platoon/company order of play
3. In house set of rules for armour

etc…

That's an amazing setup. I'm jealous. I have to work to squeeze my 6x4 board into my little condo.
