Winfield Scott was marvelous up to Lundy's Lane.After having his Brigade(minus the 25th Regt)stand in place to allow the Brit's to display their Artillery expertise,he led the pitiful remnants twice more on ill-fated "banzi"charges.He was probably "fragged"upon trying to whip up some interest with Jesup's 25th Regt in another go into the breach.
