The Perry brothers have struck a deal with ITC, to produce a new range of 28mm Sci-Fi minis from the 1970's TV show, UFO. All of your favorite characters and villains will be produced, in a variety of poses – SHADO HQ Personnel; Moonbase Girls; Aliens; Moonbase Interceptor, Mobile, and Skydiver crews; civilians, etc. If the minis sell well, they have also agreed to sculpt a full range of vehicles to go with them, including the much coveted UFOs and Moon Hoppers too. This will tie in nicely with the new movie, which is due out soon as well. The target delivery date is Q5, of this year. I can't wait! |

I think I read somewhere on a blog recently that they are considering Thunderbirds stylized minis as well. I could really get with that. |

I got some of the pre-production plastics and have been painting them. For a 28mm human figure they are a little daunting to put together with about 27 pieces each. Still the extra detail is worth the time. The most exciting thing about this project is the paint line that is being put out alongside the figures. Perry's Paints. Can't wait! |

UFO/SHADO caught my eyes, Perry Brothers opened them.
It would be nice to have Lt Ellis in 28mm, but even more to have here done in 1/6 by a Japanese. |
