Raglan Very nicely done – I am sure Keith would be more than happy to post your guys on the Aventine web site. The 'plain' bases highlight the paint job on the figures really well. I have a 2nd unit of the Thureophoroi yet to paint and was thinking of red tunics so your white stripe gives me plenty of food for thought. I ended up basing them for Hail Caesar and to avoid damage to the spears have made this 2 x 8 base 80mm deep. Cheers Garry |

I like the stripe on the Thureophoroi too. The unit identifier for the imitation legion is a great idea. Lovely stuff. |

Lovely painting there Lord Raglan (plus the other on your blog). One quick question though- how came you based the Thureophoroi two to a round base? Was this for a more skirmish based ruleset? Cheers James |
