Just joking. But check this out: newlyswissed.com/?p=1760 I would love to get 15mm figures of aliens that looked like the cute tentacled pet standing facing the St. Bernard (6th illustration, near a "monastery"). Here ya go:
Painting the aliens in white suits seems tempting too. Dan TMP link |

I like the tentacled aliens, with bubble helmets, and backpacks idea! A shame no one has thought to make some minis like that. Perhaps, now they will. |

You would need Swiss Army figures in field gear with wineglasses and cheese. And, of course, Swiss Army knives! And no I'm not joking. Since they are mosly reservists, when they go to the field and take a break, the wine glasses, wine bottles and cheese come out of the back packs. |

Only if the Vatican Swiss Guard were recalled to do the fighting
in full dress regalia
armed with them fancy ceremonial halberds. |

I would game it using FUBAR. And as you said I would paint the aliens white. |
Thornhammer | 30 Mar 2012 8:22 a.m. PST |
How would I game it? Very neutrally. |

Don't know why aliens would invade Switzerland but the Swiss army is no joke. They have a very large militia for such a small country and the Swiss have a serious attitude toward war. Before WWI the Kaiser visited Switzerland and there were military manoeuvres to mark his visit. The Kaiser was pleasantly surprised by the martial bearing of the Swiss troops. He told the Swiss general who was accompanying him of this, and the general said that the first reserve was 100,000 men strong. Never the most tactful man, the Kaiser said, "but, what would those 100,000 do if I invaded Switzerland with 200,000 men?" Without missing a beat the Swiss general said, "they would shoot twice, you majesty." |

How to game it
?
with lots of care at landing my saucers, I'd guess |
Wolfprophet | 30 Mar 2012 1:53 p.m. PST |
I'd game it the same way that any nation would. Hope for the best and drop in from the air, cause there's no getting through those mountains and while I'm at it, pray to my deity of choice that they don't arm and deploy the citizenry alongside the military. |

Too late for that. They still have conscription & most adult males of military age is in the reserves. They keep their rifles (& military issue bicycle) at home
. The Swiss may be neutral but they're not unarmed! |
Mako11 | 30 Mar 2012 2:56 p.m. PST |
The Swiss have a lot of tunnels and bunkers, so it should be interesting. I imagine the aliens are there for the cows, given all the reports here of research on them. On the plus sides for the Swiss, if it is still valid, all adult males are armed with assault weapons, which they keep at home. |

There's a serious lack of real Alien pets in 15mm. Most of what I've found are almost man-sized for 15mm and don't really look like pets. Dan TMP link TMP link |

If you had the Aliens invade from the Hollow Earth you'd have a modern dungeon skirmish, then taking the surface would be easier. |

Im not surprise they are well supplied with well armed, well trained troops with tunnels in the hills and mountains- they have alot of Nazi gold to hide as well as protecting the worlds most corrupt rich people! |

Nothing unique to Switzerland about that. You could draw exactly the same scenario for the USA, or China, or the entire earth for that matter. Obliterating a country or a planet with a directed asteroid wouldn't exactly constitute an "invasion" but you may game
differently
than most of us. |
