No, they all disappoint me eventually. I know that the probability of any one face of the D6 is the same, but it is amazing how I seem to roll twice as many 1s as I do 6s.

No, I'm not particular about dice really. I do like the normal sized ones more than other sizes though but it isn't something that bothers me one way or the other, if I have a choice I'll go with those if not, no big deal. |

f) I have a pair of D20s. I like the color patterns. And they roll their fair share of ones, but when everything is on the line they usually come through for me. At least it seems that way. |

Yes, I picked up first one Cheesex box of green dice with copper pips, then a set of smaller d6 in the same color, then a mixed set of d4-d20. Now I have a theme and in my gaming circles the dice are unique so I don't loose them. |

c. I have some Chessex D6's that are copper and tin – I like to use them for WAB Ancient games. Otherwise, I also like to use Chessex blue & red D6's for Napoleonics – Brit vs. French. Dean |

Yes, I believe that my black die with red numbering will bring me victory every time! I also have another member of my club who believes in the same thing, and we fight over rights of the dice every time we play, even though it is really mine. |
| RABeery | 22 Mar 2012 11:30 p.m. PST |
Dean I was not impressed by your dice, however they did keep me in the game. They might have been designed for a game where one rolls low to hit and high for moral tests. |
| kreoseus2 | 23 Mar 2012 2:42 a.m. PST |
My GW box of D6 is hated by my normal dystopian wars opponent, they seem to favour 6's to an alarming degree. |
| Mick A | 23 Mar 2012 3:15 a.m. PST |
Yes, Rackham dice that you found in their starter games. Black with red pips and the dragon instead of a six. Always seem to work well for me no matter if I need high or low

Lardy Dice – pie and a pint instead of a 6. |
| Yesthatphil | 23 Mar 2012 4:46 a.m. PST |
I always try to have so many dice of a similar type available that I can never tell which ones skew which way if any ever do. But I do like it if they have a nice chunky feel in the hand, and I like it when they roll nicely (I don't like those hard clattery surfaces where the dice skate across noisily and not tumbling. I have no control, so the final number is random: just bad ones 'rolled' that way feel wrong) |

C, but my choise is quit limited, like only having two sets (of 100D) each has it's own side. If I had 3 sides guess I would have to get another set. (interesting consept, three armys each fighting each other.) |

f) A pair of 'percentage dice', D10's in red and black, that I got in the 1970's. Not used much now, but still 'my favourite dice'. |
| elsyrsyn | 23 Mar 2012 7:07 a.m. PST |
Yup – b and c. Love my Chessex smoke grey translucents, both the polyhedral set and the cube od D6s. Doug |
| freerangeegg | 23 Mar 2012 7:10 a.m. PST |
I like dice with square corners, not the rounded ones. |
| Lentulus | 23 Mar 2012 8:30 a.m. PST |
I have dice that definitely do not consider me their favorite roller. |
| Huscarle | 23 Mar 2012 12:46 p.m. PST |
I'm with Advocate, those old black & red percentage dice were my favourites, very rarely used these days though. |
Parzival | 23 Mar 2012 1:02 p.m. PST |
I've always liked the classic Yahtzee/Risk transparent red dice with white pips. Don't know why— guess they look nice and aggressive. Have a bit of nostalgia for my original D&D dice (circa 1979-80), but wouldn't sniff and miss them if they died (though how a dice dies, I don't know). I've been tempted by Gamescience's Zocchi video about the superiority of their uniform dice products, but haven't bought (yet), as honestly I really don't need the dice (yet). |

Skippy's Liao Dice. Green Dice MTG 20 sided dice d6's with rounded edges so they roll better
and they all hate me too. Although I did roll about 6 criticals in Castles and Crusades yesterday. |

Yes, I have three sets I use the most, my first set, green and copper; the second set is red and purple and the last set is teal (see through). They are all conveniently carried in a chain-mail dice bag to all events and games. |

Yes, my new ACW dice from Nero. Loverly! |
| Omemin | 02 May 2012 9:21 a.m. PST |
I prefer 2 d20s marked 0-9 twice for percentiles, but that's another discussion. I don't have favorite dice. Dice as a species all seem to hate me equally, and only at critical moments in a game. |
| WillieB | 06 May 2012 2:38 p.m. PST |
Yes, lovely – heavy- gold metal ones by EM4. They don't give me any better results than ordinary dice, but you do notice them when they are rolled. |
| Last Hussar | 10 May 2012 5:36 a.m. PST |
I would like to say that Lardie dice (with a Pie and Pint on the 6) are useless in 'roll high' games. In fact they are traitors. I use Lardie dice in IABSM, and I regularly am out rolled by my opponent using Piggie dice. Rich, we need to have words
