At Cold Wars I ran a "serious" historical game using Gnome Wars and its figures. Mind you, the scenario itself was a "what-if" mixing the Spanish-American and Second Samoan Civil Wars, but the game went so well I've pondered assembling the non-gnome figures to make it a "serious and realistic" game.
