Looking for something entirely different, War in 15mm steered me on to a site with some great terrain pieces. Since they are scaled for 54mm, they will be especially grandiose in 28mm. link

Be careful with them if they are plaster -- I got some Verlinden terrain pieces like that one. They are very brittle and shatter easily.

Thanks SB, I intend to buy this at a brick and mortar but I better ask first before shelling out the train fare.

If they are like their Egyptian scenery, then they are resin and come packed in moulded expanded styrene foam forms in cardboard boxes – very good to store them in, but possibly not Post Awful proof if shipped individually.

A now defunct games store near me had them and they would fit in with GW 40K gothic ruins for visual scale
