Is anyone aware of good source material for infantry TO&Es for the Korean War: Chinese, North Korea, US and ROK forces? I am hoping to get down to the details of the Platoon Level.

Thanks
Dave

You can try the Osprey on the US Army in the Korean War.The USMC would have the late WWII To+E. As to the Chinese NKs and ROKS I've never been able to find anything. Would you please let us know if you do?

The Yahoo TO&E Group had some stuff on the conflict as I recall.

I have read that the Chinese had Grenade Platoons, presumably unarmed with rifles or pistols. Their job was to attack the frontlines throwing hand-grenades and then pick up any weapon they could. They were followed by sub-machine gun platoons to sweep the shell shocked enemy. Size and composition, I have no idea. Also, I believe the North Koreans would have been organized in the Soviet Infantry structure, as they were form by them.

Thanks ABQ172scale that's a start. Baddaski do you think this one "Modern Army Lists And Organisations For The 1950s & 1960s" will get to detail level I am looking for?

Thanks
