What's the closest thing around in 15mm?

I think I would use Khurasans SEALs. The guns are not exact, but I think the over all style, with the right paint job, would look close.

I was thinking the same as Jake when I read the topic question. Clearly the best candidates that I am aware of . . .

the problem is not the marines. As jake said, most 15mm delta force type mini's would do.
it's the cylons i worry about :)

there are models out there for the old 80's tv show but i have not seen models for the newest incarnation.

Karaz123,

For the Cylons, this is the closest I could find:

I just got hold of another batch:

I think I even saw another batch on auction, but they were blue.

Anyway, I guess I now have about 120 total.

Rebel minis US special forces would work ok too.

Dan,

I've got both Khurasans SEALs and Rebelminis US special forces, and they both work well.

I think we may be working on the same project.

How many colonial marines are you after? Choice of rules?

Oh do tell where! I'd love a few squads of OBSG Colonials!

Captain DEwell: "How many colonial marines are you after?"

I'm placing an order for Rebel Minis US Special Forces to cover me for a while.

Honestly, I'm after 30 or so for the human side, and a slightly larger number for the Cylons.

Initially I plan to have them fight on a ruined planet (Caprica?). Later, if I have the means, I will probably try a Cylon attempt to board a ship.

No idea on rules just yet.

Try out FUBAR, at least if you're doing fire team level games. Otherwise Chain Reaction 3.0 could be a good choice if you're going really small scale.

I like the Risk Star Wars miniatures. Those Battle droids are really nice.
