Today's Poll Suggestion is for "Best Historical rules of 2011". The rules are simple. This must be a brand new set of rules for use in a Historical setting. It CAN be a new revision, as in "2nd Edition". It can be army rules, an RPG, simple skirmish rules, etc. It can be in any scale, any level. It is NOT for a supplement, codex, etc. These will be in a Separte Poll. Finally, it must have first gone on sale, anywhere in the world, in the calendar year 2011. To make it to the Round One Poll, a "rules set" must be nominated on this thread. It will do no good to complain that your favorite range is not listed if it has not been nominated. I cannot help you if you have "Poll Suggestions" turned OFF. BTW, let's nominate a LOT of nominees. The last one was emabrrassingly short. |

BTW, I SPAMMED as many Boards as possible, so no one can whine about "Poll suggestions" being turned off. Ya snooze, ya lose. |

I've already put in Force on Force, but I would also like to add Waterloo, and even propose Waterloo for a new award -- Best Wargames Book. I only bought Waterloo as an afterthought in the 50% off Warhammer sale. And boy did warhammer wiff when they only sold this mail order -- as you have to see this book to see just how fantastic it is. Now the rules may be rubbish. But the uniform guide, potted history, and ;inked scenario campaign are worth their weight in gold. I am painting napoleonics again. Nuff said! |
