I am always disappointed by how much people are willing to pay for a pack of miniatures put up for sale by a private part. If you offer an opened pack of unpainted miniatures how much should you reasonably expect to get for it if you put it up sor sale? 20% of the original purchase price 30% of the original purchase price 40% of the original purchase price 50% of the original purchase price 60% of the original purchase price 70% of the original purchase price 80% of the original purchase price 90% of the original purchase price 100% of the original purchase price |

100% of the price pro-rated by the amount of miniatures remaining, if it is a recent product and in good condition. If old and OOP then maybe 200% or more depending upon what the product is; for example Ral-Partha 15mm Battlesystem. |

They are worth exactly what someone will pay for them. No more, no less. |

I personally am always disappointed by how much a seller of used miniatures thinks he should get. The conversations verge on the surreal sometimes. If everything is there and only the packaging is damaged, buyers will typically value them only a little lower than unopened miniatures. A buyer is planning to open it up and build and paint it anyway. (See my post on your topic about unopened miniatures for the price reasoning.) So for a long sale, 60% of current retail online, 70% in person. For a quick sale, 40% online / 50% in person. |
