My straight edge Koplow replacements arrived today, so I fulfilled a promise I had made to myself and burned the tools of Satan that insisted to generate 1's and 2's. For additional pleasure, I made sure to make a video of me sending the dice back to hell. It can be watched on my blog: link

You can use the melted dice as terrain. |

But everyone knows Gamescience dice are the only perfect dice! |

But everyone knows Gamescience dice are the only perfect dice!
And we've got the rambling video dissertation to prove it! |

@The editor, yeah but I read they have small air bubbles in some of the dice which makes buying them anywhere except on shows where you can pick out the perfect one's a bit risky. Besides, it would have been too expensive buying GameScience dice for games like FoW that need 20-30 dice. Would not mind buying G.S. dice for RPG's, boardgames and wargames that don't use more than a couple of dice though. Still a bit surprised no one has made any mention of the "Burning Star Wars collection" scene from the British comedy show "Spaced" where the main character played by Simon Pegg burns his Star Wars stuff after having seen Episode I:The Phantom Menace. The music choice was inspired by that show. Search for Spaced – "Taking Care of Things With George Lucas" on YouTube. |

You are my new hero. Generally, at all conventions I buy a brand new D20 and immediately go to the nearest toilet and flush it as a sacrafice to the dice gods. However, buring the evil in a ceremonial ritual takes the cake. |

Well done, sir, well done. |

Burning them all at once is wasteful. Burn ONE dice out of the group – AND MAKE THE OTHERS WATCH!!! (oh dear
did I skip my meds again?) |

Nicely done. One of the guys I game with has his "Jar of Shame" container for the dice that fail to live up to his expectations. Good thing he has a lot of dice. |

Ah, The Gambler's Fallacy claims another round of victims. Nevertheless, enjoy your new dice. And remember my motto: When I win, it's strategy. When I lose, it's bad luck. |

I agree Parzival, but I try to remember to turn that around: When I win, it's good luck. When my opponent wins, it's good strategy. Or so I tell my opponents. So far they all want to play me again. |

I agree with CeruLucifus. Ditto. I could possibly imagine someone doing this with a GW codex or rulebook, if they were a raving, attention-seeking loon. But dice? What exactly is it about rounded corners that keeps the fives and sixes away anyway? ----- Warren B. minisculpture.co.uk |
