I just found out about this pending release and I am pretty interested. I don't like the collectible bit and expect a lot of planes to be sold on the secondary market. I'd probably buy a case or two and sell off what I didn't want. Thoughts?

Looking forward to it. I hope that models from other sources will be usable. I hope that it will be a fast, fun game that works well for larger scale (1/144 – 1/72) models.

Any update on release date?

What is this game?

Angels 20 is a CMG Axis & Allies product for WWII airwar. The pre-painted models are 1/100 scale, and look a bit crude compared to gashopon. Release date is any time now. I've read a couple of favorable reviews that didn't go into great detail.

Key word being "coleectible" meaning you don't know what you are buying…

Craig--That's why I think the secondary market will be where a lot of people buy what they want after someone else buys the cases and breaks them down.

Ok. I do this for Heroclix on the secondary market. Usually pretty cheap except for super rare figures.

Are there pictures out there? I can't find any pictures except of the box.

I am very much looking forward to this game.

I put a few pics on my blog:

I ordered 2 starters initally. If the rules are worthy I plan to find a way to use my 1/200 WoW planes (probably Litko Stands) for this game as I cannot justify buying a new AIR force with the CMG concept. Already have AAM and WaS and I do not need another CMG. ;)

Two starters will give me 12 planes which should be more than enough to playtest the game mechanics while I am deployed.

Thanks, afilter. I'll probably pass as well, but I enjoyed reading about it, and the cards look interesting.

It is out now because I saw it at the FLGS.
